How does the ZO 3-Step Peel work?
The ZO 3-Step Peel includes the following three steps.
Step 1
Your Skin Scripts provider applies the peel for exfoliation. This peel contains salicylic, lactic, and trichloroacetic (TCA) acids that help you shed your epidermis, the outer layer of damaged skin.
Step 2
Your provider smooths a cream containing retinol, powerful antioxidants, cellular protection products, and collagen boosters onto your skin. What is the recovery like after ZO chemical peels?
Usually, after chemical peels from ZO, your skin briefly turns darker before starting to peel. Many patients start peeling on day three and then finish peeling within a few days. Although the peel doesn't require you to stay home in bed, you might want to plan it when you have several days off, or over a long weekend, if you don't want to be in public while peeling.
